Driveway, patio & concrete cleaning in Portland and Vancouver

Northwest concrete turns green fast. A commercial surface cleaner pulls moss, algae, mildew and ground-in dirt out of the pores so the slab dries back to an even light gray — no zebra striping from a wand.

What's included

Pre-treatment

A cleaning solution is applied first so moss and algae are killed at the root instead of just knocked loose.

Surface cleaning

A rotating flat-surface cleaner covers the slab evenly — driveways, walkways, steps, patios and pool decks.

Edge detailing

Wand work along borders, expansion joints and garage aprons where the surface cleaner can't reach.

Stain treatment

Degreaser for oil drips, rust treatment for sprinkler and fertilizer stains, and spot work on tire marks.

Paver-safe pressure

Reduced pressure and controlled fan on pavers and stamped concrete, with optional joint re-sanding.

Rinse and cleanup

Plants and landscaping rinsed before and after, debris cleared, and runoff directed away from beds.

What it costs

Concrete cleaning is priced by square footage and condition, not by the hour. A standard two-car driveway is our most common job; walkways, patios and steps are usually bundled at a lower combined rate when they're cleaned in the same visit. You get the full price in writing before we schedule.

Concrete cleaning FAQs

How often should a Portland driveway be pressure washed?
Once a year keeps moss from re-rooting in the surface. Shaded, north-facing or tree-covered driveways — common under Douglas fir — often need it every spring.
Can you get oil stains out of concrete?
Most of them. Fresh oil and light stains lift with a hot degreaser and surface cleaner. Deep, years-old stains fade substantially but may not vanish entirely, and we'll tell you which one you have before we quote.
Do you clean pavers without blowing out the joint sand?
Yes. Pavers get reduced pressure and a controlled fan so the joints stay intact, and we can re-sand afterward if the joints were already thin.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not usually. We just need access to the surface and an outdoor spigot. We'll text before and after, and walk the finished work with you if you're there.
